Our character is sailing on an abandoned sorcerer’s house. So luck, because the hero is an alchemist and can take advantage of the remnants of the inventory of the missing predecessor.

The gameplay is the alchemist simulator in the fantasy world.

On the very first gaming day, we are conducted a small but detailed training.

Let’s go through the main opportunities that the game provides.

Collection of ingredients. In the beginning they throw a few herbs for the start, in the future we must obtain resources ourselves from different sources.

The most obvious of them is the garden. Once a day you can collect what has grown there. Resources are falling enough. Something can be bought from time to time entering the shop of merchants.

Cooking potions. The process seems complicated, but actually simple and consists of several aspects. First of all, you need to see what resources are available and which of them is not a pity to spend (something is worth saving for research, in my opinion).

Next, some logical work is carried out – we compare the ingredients added to the boiler with an alchemical card. To do this, we bring the cursor to the grass and look at which direction craft will go along the map when this resource is added specifically. Our task is to add the ingredients so that ultimately the research track leads to some useful effect. Often you have to rely on intuition, although the card does not particularly contribute to a dead end. It sounds difficult, but in reality it’s pretty simple.

I will open an obvious nuance. Each type of resource directs craft according to a specifically given scheme. That is, if we have already remembered that this mushroom draws such a loop, then it will always draw this loop. This helps plan the development of research on the map.

By the way, there are places designated as a field of bones. If the study enters there and we will “trample” there for a certain time there, then the craft will break.

Zeli trade. The creation of the bottles does not occur in order to create them. The fact is that every day a variety of visitors and merchants come to the shop. The first, obviously, you can sell the results of your experiments, and the latter is to buy (you can also sell herbs and potions to them, but much cheaper) something needed.

It is interesting that each buyer tells his story based on which we need to understand – what he needs and give him it. Not difficult, but introduces some interest. From the buyer’s reaction to the proposed potion can be determined – whether this is that it is necessary. If everyone is satisfied, a deal is made.

If the buyer requires that it is not available, then if there are resources, you can scrap him the required “on the go”. The waiting time by visitors to goods is not limited, so there is no fuss.

You can bargain in an attempt to get more gold, then you will have to play in a small simple mini-game.

Coins are very useful in order to get special ingredients, equipment and upgrades from merchants.

Level of level and reputation. These are extremely important aspects of the game. For a set of levels, we get a character development points that can be spent to obtain an additional profit in research or trade.

Experience is gained for performing special “tasks”, collection of herbs, cooking potions and any successful action. Also every day, special icons (green books) appear on the research map, for passing through which (including the maps that already appear in the already investigated zones), experience will be accrued for raising the level.

The level of reputation is growing when trade is good. If you get the product required by the buyer, it decreases. High reputation leads to pleasant buns and increasing in complexity requirements of visitors.

Global goals. Cooking potions for peasants and royal guards is certainly great, but the game also has a global goal – the most difficult craft of a philosophical stone. To create it, you will have to study perfectly recipes, including complex ones, to buy equipment and scrap a lot of potions. Moreover, you need to go as many as five stages of craft.

These special studies are conducted in the basement, which will also have to be equipped.

When all the goals of the game day are completed, the ingredients are collected, buyers are served, you can rest in the attic, which will launch a new cycle.

Consider the pros and cons of the game, let us summarize.

+ Simple, but stylish, pleasant graphics.

+ As far as I understand, only one melody, but it emphasizes the atmosphere quite well.

+ Excellent and, at the same time, a simple craft system for understanding. A lot of ingredients, the types of potions themselves, a wonderful research system in the form of a large card.

+ Good character development system.

+ Good Russian localization of the text (no voice acting).

– Several small grammatical errors in dialogue texts.

Nice game. Will especially come in lovers of unhurried research and craft. Although this is early access, everything is already playing well now. If promises are fulfilled, it will become even better.
